My interpretation of the Churchill Rocket Research Range a former upper-atmosphere research facility located near Churchill, Manitoba, now a National Historic Site of Canada. Operating mainly between 1956 and 1985, it launched over 3,500 sounding rockets (like the Black Brant) to study the aurora borealis, upper atmosphere, and ionosphere.
Linocut relief print, hand printed in Churchill, Manitoba, by Mark Reynolds. Hand carved in linoleum, printed one at a time. tinted with watercolour, on Arches paper.
Sold unframed, ready to slip into a standard 8" x 10" frame without matting should you choose to do so. (Obviously the "www.HereBeBears.com" watermark will not be present on the prints you receive!).
