My interpretation of 'The Franklin Window' in Churchill, Manitoba, is a historic artifact located within  St. Paul’s Anglican Church at 67 Bernier Street. It is a stained-glass window donated by Lady Jane Franklin, the wife of the famous Arctic explorer Sir John Franklin, as a gesture of gratitude to the explorers and Inuit who assisted in the search for her husband, who vanished during the 1845 Franklin expedition to find the Northwest Passage.

Linocut relief print, hand printed in Churchill, Manitoba, by Mark Reynolds. Hand carved in linoleum, printed one at a time. tinted with watercolour, on Arches paper.

Sold unframed, ready to slip into a standard 8" x 10" frame without matting should you choose to do so. (Obviously the "www.HereBeBears.com" watermark will not be present on the prints you receive!).
