Adapt or Perish

Back on the 3rd of December I took a seasonal/part-time job at our supermarket to bridge the periods of reduced traffic between tourist seasons. Since the official declaration of a Pandemic at the end of March, my part-time seasonal grocery job has morphed into full-time permanent employment (I am greatful for that).

This new online shop is my effort to adapt to the current world situation and salvage the airport/tourism based art business I’ve built up over the past 30 years.

I don’t expect international tourism, or tourism of any kind, to return to our special little town in any meaningful way until sometime in 2021 at the earliest.

Until then, I’ll keep serving my local community by stocking the bread and milk at our grocery store and, to the extent possible, keep on offering my locally made/nature inspired work worldwide through this online shop.

Hope to hear from you all soon and often.
